Warrior Paint
Ultra-Resistant Textured Coating

Like Raptor paint, which is the default paint used for truck bed liners, Warrior is also ideal for industrial use and vehicle restoration. It's widely used for painting vehicle bodies.

It's a paint with a structuring element. The texture can be adjusted depending on the application technique.

It's recommended over ordinary anti-gravel paint for superior performance.

Common applications include truck bed liners for 4x4s, chassis, car interiors with fenders, trailers, industrial components, tractors...

The most popular 4x4s coated with ECAR Warrior Paint include: Land Rover Discovery, Defender, Freelander, Nissan Navara, Terrano, Patrol, Pathfinder, Toyota Land Cruiser, 4Runner and HiLux.

This paint is extremely durable and boasts many properties. It is especially known for its excellent resistance to:

• High temperatures
• UV rays
• Scratches
• Corrosion

It can be applied on all surfaces that are properly prepared (plastic, metal, aluminium, sheet metal...).

It is strongly recommended to use a filler primer or epoxy primer before painting.

Warrior-type paint can be applied in two distinct ways: using an anti-gravel gun (such as the ECAR AG2000 adjustable nozzle anti-gravel gun) or with a body spray gun.

An anti-gravel gun is recommended for a more textured or structured look. This is the most popular method for painting bed liners or 4x4 bodies.

As with all PU paints, no clear coat should be applied over Warrior.

• Apply one coat ensuring the surface is fully covered
• Allow to dry for 20 to 50 minutes so the solvents disperse
• Add another coat until the desired texture effect is achieved

Important: depending on pressure and spraying distance, the texture effect will be more or less prominent.

• Coarse grain - Very textured look
  • Pressure: 1 to 1.5 bar
  • Distance: 40cm to 60cm
• Medium grain - Moderately textured
  • Pressure: 2 bar
  • Distance: 40cm to 60cm
• Fine grain - Finely textured
  • Pressure: 3 to 4 bar
  • Distance: 90cm

With an anti-gravel gun:

• Mix ratio 3:1 with ECAR EH105 hardener
• Output pressure: 2.5 to 4 bar
• Steps:
  • Shake the product before opening
  • Add ECAR EH105 hardener
  • Close the cap and shake until the mixture is homogeneous
• Theoretical yield*: approx. 3m² / 1kg kit

With an HVLP spray gun:

• Mix ratio 3:1 using EH105 hardener
• Dilution 15 to 30% using ET800 thinner
• Output pressure: 2 bar
• Recommended nozzle sizes: between 1.7mm and 2.5mm
• Steps:
  • Shake the product before opening
  • Add the hardener
  • Mix all ingredients together
  • Add ET800 thinner and mix well until homogeneous
• Theoretical yield*: 4 to 6m² per 1kg kit

Use a graduated mixing cup for easier measuring.
